Ambrosia & Venom

🌹✨🦂

She works in the wee-hours,

Talking to the flowers,

Displaying odd powers –

Unseen in a moment, atonement.

There was a time beyond time,

A rhyme brings the mind – the signs

Dimensions in the shape of a hexagon,

Eons ago, before the overthrow,

Things glimmered, simmering in the Sun,

Shimmering like gold, the thing I speak of is

older than old. Bought and sold.

Paid for in bloody gold.

Much was sacrificed –

to keep this story untold.

Be bold. Be brave. Or be a slave.

Give her what she craves:

Paving the way,

Underground in the maze-like, caves

The bees buzzed among honeycomb,

And the priestesses sing-song along

It really wasn’t so long ago

Did you know
